What is the most important factor in buying a used car?

I am an expert in assessing the true value of any car. The year or age of the car is not important if you intend to keep the car for a few years. The most important thing is MILEAGE---MILEAGE---MILEAGE. Low mileage will provide you with future trouble free driving, saving money on replacement parts and labor.

What car purchases will give me the best value?

What else do you do in helping me purchase my next car?

I look after all the paper work and the car will come with a temporary license. I will bring you to the car for a test drive and then you can have it checked out by  your mechanic . I can do this for you also,  so that any repairs will be done by the seller. Should the car have some warranty left than the manufacturer will cover the costs.

Can I have my choice of color?

I find out what colors you don’t want, leaving me a wide range of colors to choose from & making the selection of the vehicle easier.

Can I get financing on the car?

Depends on your financial background. If it's a private sale, you can use your bank. If it's a dealer he can usually provide the financing.

What is your fee for finding a car & for selling my old one?

In selling your car, I charge a very small transaction fee depending upon the actual value of the car. If it's an  antique car (a classic over 20 years old), You set a price which I can advise you on. Anything above that price is my fee. The above fees cover all internet exposure. Newspaper ads and auto magazine ads are paid by the client who is always consulted before any such ads are placed.

When selling my car how does the buyer have access to the car?

I keep the car where it can be shown so that when a prospective buyer calls I can either bring  him or her the car or they can view the car on my premises. I am centrally located in Montreal. If the car is located within a reasonable distance-- you keep the car and I will bring the buyer to you.

When do I pay your fee?

Upon completion of the sale at the license bureau or dealer.

When I buy a car, If the car has no warranty , can I buy one?

Providing the car is under 100,000 KMs. The dealers provide a 30 day warranty and some also have a one year warranty on all moving parts.
